The Work Zone Temporary Traffic Control certification program covers the Principles of Design, Installation and Maintenance of Temporary Traffic Control Devices and identifies Standards. The general principles outlined in this program are applicable to both Rural and Urban applications featuring Part 6, Temporary Traffic Control from the FHWA Certification program on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). This two day program provides the student with a review of the knowledge necessary to prepare for the certification examination.

This refresher/review seminar and Senior Field Technician exam is designed for the experienced Traffic Signals Senior Field Technician Level III.
The 100-question exam associated with this certification has been prepared to test the candidate on a wide range of topics relating to field expertise and general knowledge of the applied traffic signal technologies in the field.
